This is a two-part class that is designed to provide the student with a basic, but thorough, understanding of core shamanism and some of the practices that we can still benefit from in today's society and environment. In this class students will learn to reconnect with the spirits of nature, plants, animals, fish, and birds in the ways that people of ancient shamanic cultures have for centuries. Through ceremonies, students will learn to cleanse & balance the energy in their home and land. You will learn how to sense and access the vibrations of our planet and nature, and how to channel this energy to help correct the damage that we have done to our environment and animal nations.
Bring your drum or rattle, journey blanket, notebook, and a healthy dish to share in a potluck lunch. Coffee, tea and snacks will be provided in the morning.
IMPORTANT: Students must be experienced in shamanic journeying or astral traveling to participate in this class since we will engage in several shamanic journeys throughout each day. If you know how to journey but haven't done it in a while, now is the time to practice and reconnect with your spirit guides and power animals since you will benefit from their assistance in this class.
Brenda Quinones is a Shamanic Practioner and a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master Teacher. She has been practicing Shamanic Healing, Reiki, and other forms of energy work, for many years. Brenda was initiated into the Healing Arts by her mother, grandmother and the many shamans that have taught her since early childhood. Brenda is the organizer of the Natural People Meetup Group, as well as a local business professional.
