Faery Dancing

She creeps into the silence of the trees
Coming at last under the gaze of the shining moon.
Satisfied that she is alone, she lets the silvery light of the full moon entice her
Until she loses herself in the radiance.
Beginning to sway and spin to the faery music in her head
She does not notice the dark elf, entranced by her restless dance.
With a rhythmic piping and a quiet leap, he joins her in her worship
Of the all-loving mother moon.
